Believe it. Its almost here. Wireless Internet connections threw out the Las Vegas valley for under $50. a month.

A company called XO Communications recently unveiled a service for businesses in Southern Nevada.
"Right now", they have several hubs within the Valley and are adding more as fast as they can. With a clear line of site, which is not a problem for most of Las Vegas, their RF signals have a range of up to 12 miles. They expect that full coverage of the entire Valley will happen very soon.

Technologies: Wireless signal from tower with 35-mile radius with direct line to 13-inch dish.

Costs: $49.95 a month, $39.95 with long distance, $99 charge with two-year service agreement otherwise $299.
